        La misión del Consejo para la comunidad indígena y tejana es preservar la historia, las tradiciones y la rica cultura de la comunidad indígena y tejana del condado de Hays. Esto se logrará mediante el patrocinio de marcadores históricos, la realización de historias orales, arte y cultura, y la CITC trabajará en estrecha colaboración con el distinguido Instituto de Culturas Indígenas.
